UN appeals for funds for Palestinians caught up in Syria war

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA, said almost all the estimated 450,000 Palestinian refugees still inside Syria are in “critical need” of humanitarian aid in order to survive. It said it needed $411 million (390 million euros) to support the Palestinians inside Syria as well as 47,000 others who have fled to neighbouring Jordan and Lebanon.
