GOP rallies to McCarthy to own the libs. It might be owning itself.

McCarthy’s speakership bid now seems to revolve around the idea that he’s being persecuted. That’ll ring true to Republicans and be emotionally satisfying, even as they avert their gaze on his obvious shortcomings.
