WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House is considering Mohammed El-Erian, chief economic adviser at German insurance giant Allianz, among other possible candidates, to be a vice chair at the U.S. Federal Reserve, CNBC said on Tuesday, citing a report from Dow Jones.
